Become a STEM Ambassador
In our efforts to promote O.R. in schools we offer teachers the opportunity to request school visits. In order for these visits to happen and be a success we rely on our members to give up their time and volunteer to inform and inspire young people. Becoming a STEM Ambassador is a great way to get extra support when visiting schools.
Who can become a STEM Ambassador?
Anyone over the age of 17 with skills or interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics can register as a STEM Ambassador, not just OR Society members. The most important qualities in a STEM Ambassador are that they are enthusiastic and a positive role model for STEM subjects and associated careers.
There are two brochures to download Become a STEM Ambassador and The STEM Ambassador Programme – A Guide for Employers
