Stream Definition

Have you conducted, (or are you thinking of conducting), an exciting piece of research, yet struggling to find an industrial partner?  Do you have a business problem but cannot find a solution?  Do you have an interesting piece of research that deserves to be shared more widely outside your area of specialism?

This session aims at boosting closer links between academics and practitioners and involves posters and 60-second presentations highlighting the latest developments across the academic-practitioner interface. We are inviting posters describing a problem you are working on, a challenge which you think could be solved by closer academic-practitioner partnership, or showcasing a successful ac-prac collaboration.

The aim is to have a forum for academics and practitioners to interact, which should help practitioners to enhance their currently used methods by drawing on academic expertise and help academics to ensure their research is shared beyond traditional audiences.
