Independent Consultants Network

The ICN was established in 1993 to address the interests of the increasing number of the Society’s members who find themselves practising OR without the formal structure of a traditional in-house O.R. group. It differs from most of the other Special Interest Groups in that it is not confined to the study of a particular topic.

The aims of the ICN are:

• to provide a forum for independent O.R. consultants to exchange information relevant to their practice;
• to provide a network for mutual support;
• to facilitate and improve the practice of O.R. through independent consultancy.
