DEVELOPMENTS IN SCENARIO PLANNING

Hosted by the Strategy SIGs of the OR Society and the British Academy of Management

Scenario Planning, a tool to explore alternative futures, has been used by organisations for many years. Over the same period, it has attracted the attention of numerous scholars across a range of disciplines including management and O.R. 

This one day event has been jointly organized by the Strategy Special Interest Groups of the OR Society and the British Academy of Management. Its purpose is to bring together a collection of speakers to share their varied experiences and reflect on developments in the scenario planning field. We are delighted to have eight speakers from across the practitioner-academic spectrum, including those who develop and use scenarios, those who facilitate scenario development in participative settings and those who research into the field.
