This interactive workshop will look at best practice in building a Balanced Scorecard and consider the contributions that MS/O.R. can make. The course is designed for O.R. practitioners, management consultants, analysts and managers whose job relates to performance measurement and performance management.

Through interactive discussion, presentation, group activities and case studies, delegates will learn: how to link performance measurement & performance management; how to use Strategy Maps and modelling to link performance measures to strategic objectives; how to understand what makes for an effective Scorecard; how to develop meaningful Key Performance Indicators as part of a Scorecard; and how to use MS/OR to improve performance measurement & management

The top five reasons for why you should attend are:

1. The highly interactive approach will allow learning from the experiences of every participant

2. Although based on a rigorous methodology, the workshop takes a pragmatic approach to performance measurement

3. The workshop dispels some of the hype and myths around the Scorecard approach showing what it can and can't do

4. You will understand the value added that MS/O.R. can bring to the Scorecard

5. The tutor has been researching and teaching performance measurement for over 15 years with numerous industry based projects
