WORAN Event - A summer catch-up on what we’ve learnt and what’s next

Over the past few years, WORAN has covered a rich range of topics. This session is an opportunity to pause and reflect. We will consider which conversations have had the most impact and what we should prioritise next.

We have been deliberate in WORAN about not just what we talk about, but how we explore it. Many sessions follow a journey. We start with an initial idea. We then move to structured discussion. Finally, we reflect through lived experience. This session is a pause in that cycle. It is a chance to take stock and think about where to go next.

Drawing on this, we will revisit a few standout topics. These include spotlight on great leaders, overcoming imposer syndrome, menopause in the workplace, neurodiversity in OR, and career progression. We will reflect on what we have learned and what still feels unresolved. It is also an “in case you missed it” recap of some of the most impactful discussions.

You do not need to have attended previous WORAN sessions to take part. New perspectives are very welcome. Whether you are new to WORAN or have been involved from the start, your input will help shape what comes next.
