The Master's Scholarship is paused for the 2026 academic year due to financial restructuring. We remain committed to supporting postgraduate study and will re-evaluate for September 2027. Updates will be posted here. 

Considering a career in OR or analytics?

Make a strong start and apply for a £10,000 scholarship towards your master’s degree.

Each year, The OR Society offers up to two master’s degree scholarships of up to £10,000 towards tuition fees for students who show academic ability but need help funding their studies and fulfilling their potential in the field of OR.

Successful candidates are asked to become members of The OR Society and contribute to society activities.

Am I eligible?

There are three eligibility criteria applicants must meet:

  • apply for a degree with at least 40% OR content
  • apply for a degree beginning in autumn 
  • be a UK national

Deadline for applications

 We will not be offering this award for the 2026 academic year. 

How to apply:

You must be a UK national applying for or due to start a master’s degree in autumn 2025, where at least 40 percent of the modules relate to OR methods.

Form must be submitted by course admissions officer.
