Join a community of managers, policymakers, academics, and practitioners dedicated to improving sustainability within the OR sector. Share insights, tackle challenges, and explore opportunities for innovation together.

Overview

Sustainability is no longer a single-sector challenge. It’s a systems challenge that spans energy, transport, food, finance, manufacturing, and beyond. This event brings together perspectives from across these sectors to explore how decisions are made, what drives them, and how they can be improved.

From policy frameworks and operational strategies to individual behaviours and organisational culture, we will examine the behavioural, economic, and data-driven factors that shape sustainable outcomes. By connecting insights across disciplines, we aim to better understand not only what needs to change, but how to enable meaningful, evidence-based transitions toward a more sustainable future.

Key Topics

This one-day event includes a selection of keynotes and workshops exploring:

  • Data-Driven Pathways to Net Zero: Modelling, optimisation, and scenario planning
  • OR and Energy Transition: Forecasting, grid optimisation, and energy storage modelling
  • Data Science for the Global Workforce: Modelling workforce resilience, productivity, supply chain, and migration
  • Circular Economy Modelling: Optimisation techniques for material reuse and waste reduction
  • Sustainable Supply Chain Analytics: Network modelling for reduced emissions
