OR Society Early Career Researcher Workshop

Mark your calendar for the Operational Research Society Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network workshop! The event will take place on 10^th-11^th September at the University of Bath, just before OR65, our Annual Conference, 2023.

This workshop is a great opportunity for ECRs in OR to connect with their peers, gain valuable insights, and learn about key opportunities to establish successful research careers. You will have a chance to hear from leading academics on how to review academic papers and receive essential advice for getting your papers published. You will gain insight into available grants, how to make a successful application and hear from leading grant holders and EPSRC. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in mock panels to assess real grant applications, present a poster and participate in structured networking activities.

Lunch and dinner will be provided with the help of the OR Society. Registration cost for Monday is £60.00 plus VAT. The full conference ticket add-on for OR65 is £329.00 plus VAT. Accommodation cost is £46 or £61 plus VAT per night. Participants will be eligible for a discount to attend the full OR65 conference (excluding students). Registration will open during April.
