Tensions brewing in the South China Sea as the world fights COVID-19

Abstract

Whilst the world is busy fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, many Southeast Asian countries are fighting a battle of their own within the South China Sea. In light of the most recent escalations of tensions in the sea between Vietnam and China, the CTG’s PACOM team examines the past and current developments surrounding these territorial disputes.
