The presentation from a workshop to introduce OR practitioners to formulating and solving nonlinear optimisation problems. The presentation included typical examples and types of nonlinear problems and the categories of available nonlinear solvers. A discussion of techniques and modelling approaches focued on how solvers handle each problem
