Optimisation under Uncertainty

This stream focuses on the theory underpinning and the applications stemming from the field of optimisation under uncertainty.

In today’s complex world, decision making is seldom devoid of uncertainty. Uncertainty may be associated with the potential demand for a service, the level of service provided, or eventual and unforeseen policy and environmental changes. Decision support approaches and tools that consider such uncertainty and acknowledge the complexity of the decision-making environment are essential to provide sound and practical decision support to real-world problems. We are interested to hear your ideas and concepts to drive future research in this exciting, interdisciplinary field. Both theory and practice-oriented contributions are welcome.

We are now looking for OR professionals, data scientists, professors, researchers, analysts, engineers, etc., to present at this event. Submit your presentation summary to the Optimisation under uncertainty stream and join our expert OR66 speakers!
