Stewart Robinson is Dean and Professor of Management Science at Loughborough University, School of Business and Economics.  Previously employed in simulation consultancy, he supported the use of simulation in companies throughout Europe and the rest of the world.  He is author/co-author of six books on simulation.  His research focuses on the practice of simulation model development and use.  Key areas of interest are conceptual modelling, model validation, output analysis, alternative simulation methods (discrete-event, system dynamics and agent based) and the use of simulation in facilitated workshops.  Professor Robinson is co-founder of the Journal of Simulation and the UK Simulation Workshop conference series.  He was President of the Operational Research Society (2014-2015).  Home page: www.stewartrobinson.co.uk.

SIMON J. E. TAYLOR is a Professor and the Director of the Modelling and Simulation Research Group in the Department of Computer Science, Brunel University London. He has a PhD in distributed simulation and has research interests that include modelling & simulation, distributed computing and advancing e-Infrastructures in Africa. He has published over 150 scientific articles, has worked with consortia to attract over £25 Million in research funding, made cost savings in industry of over £3 Million, co-designed numerous industrial distributed computing applications and has recently contributed to African research infrastructures by delivering elements of a roadmap for African National Research and Education Networks across West and Central Africa. He a member of the ACM SIGSIM Steering Committee, founder of the Journal of Simulation and has chaired several major conferences.
