Improving engagement strategy for a youth charity

Renfoun Promopic

Project summary

Work with staff, trustees and other stakeholders to develop a strategy to enable the Renaissance Foundation to support more young people.

How will this project benefit the organisation?

The Renaissance Foundation is keen to support more young people; they know there are plenty more people out there who could benefit from their programmes.

Client description

The Renaissance Foundation is a specialist youth charity providing support to young carers and patients aged 12-18. Their mission is to inspire these young people to reach their full potential and embark on their own journey of renewal.

Project description

The Renaissance Foundation wants to increase the number of referrals, in order to support more young people and also to increase engagement.

The volunteer should start by discussing the situation with the Programme Director, examine the data held in order to familiarise themselves with the current referrals, engagement and retention and examine the current impact measures used.

They should then, in collaboration with the Programme Director, organise and facilitate a strategic planning workshop in order to develop a strategy for increasing referrals and engagement.

The volunteer should have experience of facilitating workshops and experience of third sector organisations would be useful.
