Events Terms and Conditions

  1. The full fee is payable at the time of booking. The OR Society reserves the right to withhold joining instructions pending receipt of full payment.
  2. Delegate substitutions from the same organisation may be made at any time and without charge.
  3. Provided the order is placed at least 7 days before the start of the conference, training course or other event, you have 7 days from the date of the acknowledgement during which you can cancel your order and receive a full refund. Your order will not be actioned until after the 7-day period has expired. If a booking is cancelled after the expiry of the 7-day period, but more than one month before the start of the conference, training course or other event, any fees paid will be refunded, though an administration charge of £25 may be made. If a booking is cancelled less than one month before the start of the conference, training course or other event, any costs The OR Society had incurred on your behalf at the time of cancellation, plus an administration charge of £25, will be retained. Any balance of fees paid will be refunded. For cancellations less than 7 working days prior to the event date no refunds will be made. If your order is placed less than 7 days before the start of the conference, training course or other event, your order will be actioned immediately and if you then cancel, any costs The OR Society had incurred on the your behalf at the time of cancellation, plus an administration charge of £25, will be retained. Any balance of fees paid will be refunded.
  4. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the details given in the programme are correct at the time of publication, The OR Society reserves the right to make any changes that might be necessary, and accepts no liability for any loss, inconvenience or disappointment arising.
  5. Delegates attending this event do so at their own risk. The OR Society accepts no liability for any loss, theft, damage or injury suffered by a delegate. Delegates should ensure that they have adequate insurance cover.
  6. Student registration is for student members of The OR Society only. The low-cost student places are limited in number and are allocated on a first paid, first served basis.
