Considering a career in operational research?

Start by making a good decision: apply for a £10,000 scholarship towards your master’s degree.

Each year, The OR Society offers up to two master’s degree scholarships of up to £10,000 towards tuition fees for students who demonstrate academic ability but require funding to continue their studies and fulfil their potential in making a future contribution to OR.

Successful candidates will be expected to engage with The OR Society by becoming a member and contributing to society activities.

Deadline for applications

The deadline for the 2020 scholarship has passed. We will update our webpage when we are accepting applications for the 2021 scholarship.

How to apply:

You must be a UK national applying for or due to start a master’s degree where at least 40% of the modules relate to OR methods.

If you meet these requirements, discuss this scholarship with your chosen university’s admissions officer who can submit an application on your behalf.
