Facility Location

Despite the transition to a more digital economy where brick-and-mortar retail facilities are in clear decline, facility location problems and their applications are still an important area of research. This is particularly true in an environment where last-mile delivery is of utmost importance, and changes in our environment bring new challenges to locators. This stream would like to attract a variety of contributions in facility location, network restructuring, and related problems, addressing new problems and/or propose innovative modelling and solution approaches to new and not-so-new problems.
