Transportation

In this session, we will cover the latest and original research in the field of operational research (OR) that address recent developments and future perspectives in the theory, practice, and application for transportation. On the methodological side, we will explore different types of modelling techniques (e.g., exact or approximate), and applications developed for various types of transportation problems. Some of the applications we will explore include last-mile logistics, intermodal transportation, green transportation, and more. We note that the findings of the research should be directly utilised or have demonstrable potential to be employed by the industry to improve their practices.

This session is designed for researchers and industry practitioners in the field of transportation. Specifically, this session will cover the planning and implementation of complex transportation tasks using computations and advanced decision support systems. By attending this session, attendees will deepen their knowledge of transportation, and gain insights into emerging trends and business innovations.
