How to reinvigorate or terminate a moribund Regional Society

Where a Regional Society has gone through a two year cycle with no activity, members other than the Officers may take action to reinvigorate the Regional Society.  Such action may include:

  1. Replacing the current Chair (to be enacted by the Secretary & General Manager after reference to the Board of the OR Society)
  2. Polling the existing membership (via the extant email distribution list) to establish reasons for morbidity

If there is no perceived desire to resurrect the Regional Society it will be terminated following review by the Events Committee.  Once terminated the Regional Society’s history will be archived on the Society’s website.
