EURO, the Association of European Operational Research Societies is launching a brand-new online seminar series, marking a significant step forward in its mission to promote Operational Research (OR) more widely across Europe.

EPSRC have recently appointed Vadim Zverovich, Head of the Mathematics and Statistics Research Group at the UWE and member of the ORS Research Committee, as a SAT member on the Mathematical Science theme.

The ICMS are supporting the UK Knowledge Exchange Hub for Mathematical Sciences (KE Hub) which was launched last year. As part of this the ICMS and KE Hub are holding new interactive KE Hub triage workshops.

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been named a Finalist in the British Data Awards 2024.

As a celebration of International Women’s Day today (8th March), we mark the event by highlighting the achievements of pioneering women in Operational Research (OR) and signpost networks that support women in OR careers today.
