Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NRFU) Dr Olga Polotska has appealed to the international community to help her country’s scientists, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The ‘Seth Bonder Camp in Computational and Data Science for Engineering’ is a summer camp that introduces young people to operational research, computer programming and engineering in the hope of given them a pathways into careers in data science and analytics.

The OR Society has launched a new training platform online to make all aspects of browsing, booking and attending training courses much easier for members and non-members alike.

The OR Society has opened applications for its 2022 Master’s Scholarship, worth £10,000. The award is intended to support students who would otherwise be denied opportunities to study operational research because of financial constraints. (Picture: Maryam Mojdehi, our most recent winner.)

EPSRC has introduced an initiative to encourage the wider research community to submit "adventurous and exciting ideas" that are "ambitious and have the ability to transform the research landscape".
