Professor Michael Myers appointed as Co-Editor of EJIS

Professor Michael D. Myers has been appointed as Co-Editor of The OR Society's European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS). EJIS provides a distinctive European perspective on the theory and practice of information systems.

Myers is Professor of Information Systems at the University of Auckland Business School, New Zealand, and his research focuses on digital transformation and the relationship between IT and people in an organizational context.

Michael won the Best Paper award (with Heinz Klein) for the most outstanding paper published in MIS Quarterly in 1999. This paper has been cited over 6000 times according to Google Scholar. He has served as Senior Editor of MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Information & Organization, Pacific Asia Journal of the AIS and European Journal of Information Systems. He also previously served as President of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) in 2006-2007. Michael is a Fellow and a LEO Award winner of the Association for Information Systems.
